Success Found at the Winter Fancy Foods Buyers Mission

In January 2014, Breton Enterprises dba Natural Nectar, located in Huntington, New York, in the 3rd Congressional District, attended the Winter Fancy Foods Buyers Mission. During this Buyers Mission, they established a supplier contact that led to $3,000 in first time export sales to Mexico.

Breton Enterprises is a producer of crackers, cookies, snacks, spreads, candy, beverages and seasonings in the specialty, natural and ethnic market segments. The company has shown a commitment to utilizing ecological packaging solutions, supporting sustainable development and producing a wide range of innovative and healthy products.

Food Export uses funding from the Market Access Program (MAP) to help America’s small businesses increase their exports of food and agricultural products; as these exports increase, these small businesses are creating jobs and improving the strength and stability of our agricultural economy. Food Export-Midwest and Food Export-Northeast are non-profit organizations that work in collaboration with their member state departments of agriculture and the USDA’s Foreign Agricultural Service. They offer a wide range of programs and services that help boost America’s agricultural exports.
