New Jersey Supplier Expands Exports to Taiwan

In May, Cibo Vita, located in Fair Lawn, New Jersey, in the 9th Congressional District, attended SIAL China where they met a number of contacts a buyer from Taiwan. In October, they made a sale of dried fruits & nuts to Taiwan.

According to Metin T. Deniz, “Almost 50% cost reimbursement made it possible for us to exhibit in foreign markets.  All of the expenses and the efforts were worth it!” As a result, the company started to source more ingredients and used more labor force to fulfill orders.

Cibo Vita is an exporter of dried fruits in retail segment.

Food Export uses funding from the Market Access Program (MAP) to help America’s small businesses increase their exports of food and agricultural products; as these exports increase, these small businesses are creating jobs and improving the strength and stability of our agricultural economy. Food Export-Midwest and Food Export-Northeast are non-profit organizations that work in collaboration with their member state departments of agriculture and the USDA’s Foreign Agricultural Service. They offer a wide range of programs and services that help boost America’s agricultural exports.
