In May 2015, Life Plus Style Gourmet, LLC, a New York company that is promoting Coney Island Popcorn, secured an order with a major retailer in Canada, shipping 420 cases in ten pallets of four new different types of popcorn flavors, the order was worth $10,000.
Robi Nedboy, Creative Director for Life Plus Style Gourmet, LLC and Food Export contact for the company mentioned that they had been in talks with the Canadian retailer. “Utilizing Food Export’s Branded Program funding [to help with cost of the shipment of samples] we now have a $10,000 order in Canada. Participating in Food Export’s Branded Program is helping us to increase our budget to include targeting all sanctioned U.S. Tradeshows where we can exhibit, and we are hoping to do more international based Trade Missions and shows in 2015; five times more than our first year in the program.”
