Food Ingredients Buyers Mission Helps Missouri Supplier Expand Export Sales

During June of 2014, companies attended the Food Ingredients Buyers Mission at the IFT Show in New Orleans, LA. The show as a whole was extremely successful with total sales from the event being $2.95 million and the projected sales were $3.6 million. In addition, thirteen companies saw over a 20% increase in sales.

One of the many companies who attended and prospered from the event was Heartland Farms Dairy from Saint Louis, Missouri.  From the show, the company had $120,000 in projected sales and made eight new buyer contacts.  The projected sales were in South Korea’s and India’s markets.  Located in Saint Louis, Missouri, in the 2nd Congressional District, the Heartland Farms Dairy sells a variety of cheeses, butters, milk, and milk powder.  Founded in 2003, the family owned company is known for being the Midwest’s most respected dairy marketers.
