Food Export's Services Help Create Sales Leads for ConAgra Foods

by Food Export | Jul 07, 2016
In May 2015, ConAgra Foodservice International, located in Bloomington, Minnesota, attended the SIAL China Trade Show where they developed sales leads with buyers from China. The company utilized Food Export’s Food Show PLUS!™ trade show enhancement services at this show, which include pre-show product research, targeted invitations to qualified buyers, food industry interpreters at exhibit booth, and more.

According to Claudio Danús, Sr. Manager-Foodservice International, “It was our first time at the show, and Food Export’s services helped make it a great experience.” Mr. Danús also noted, “The pre-show information from Food Export was done very professionally and the interpreter was very helpful.”

As a result of participating in SIAL China, ConAgra was able to initiate conversations for a promising distributorship with a distributor in China and has also sent samples of its Swiss Miss branded product to a Chinese buyer. Mr. Danús is optimistic about this opportunity in the Chinese market.

ConAgra Foods is a producer of packaged foods in the retail and foodservice markets.
