All Natural Export to Canada

In June of 2015, Global Palate dba White Oak Farm & Table, from the 4th Congressional District of Westport, Connecticut, attended Food Export’s Summer Fancy Foods Buyers Mission in New York. There, Renee Hooper, President of White Oak met with buyers from Canada, Taiwan, Mexico, Hong Kong, Turkey, India, Brazil, France and South Korea.

The Connecticut supplier projects $3,000 in sales of their specialty sauces to Canada. This sale would be a first-time export sale to the Canadian market for White Oak Farm & Table.

Global Palate dba White Oak Farm & Table, “Connecticut-bred and Connecticut Proud”, this supplier shares many of the qualities that make their home state great. Their tagline “Natural Ingredients, Exceptional Quality” is more to them than a slogan; it’s their way of life. Their popular line of products include all-natural fruit spreads, grill and finishing sauces, ketchups, mustards, gluten-free salad dressings, tapenades, pasta sauces, salsas and apple sauces.

Food Export uses funding from the Market Access Program (MAP) to help America’s small businesses increase their exports of food and agricultural products; as these exports increase, these small businesses are creating jobs and improving the strength and stability of our agricultural economy. Food Export-Midwest and Food Export-Northeast are non-profit organizations that work in collaboration with their member state departments of agriculture and the USDA’s Foreign Agricultural Service. They offer a wide range of programs and services that help boost America’s agricultural exports.
