Orange Cheese Company Starts Exporting to China

Orange Cheese Company used the support of Branded Program funding to exhibit at Food & Hotel China in Shanghai in November of 2014. As a result of their trade show promotion, Orange Cheese Company obtained over 50 business contacts and leads and generated their very first export shipment to China, estimated at $40,000.00, with sales expected to triple by the end of 2015. Additionally, the trade show helped to successfully launch one of America’s leading cheese brands in 40 retail locations and 10 major cities throughout China.

According to Cynthia Liu, owner of Orange Cheese Company,” It was our first time exhibiting at FHC show in Shanghai last November through Food Export's Branded Program support. It provided us a great opportunity to test the cheese products we'd like to introduce to China with the attending professionals from the food industry. The positive feedback and response gave us great confidence and valuable market information. It also helped us further enhance the relationships with local retailers, distributors, hotels, and restaurants.”
