Branded Funded Exhibition Leads to Rapid Growth in Mexico

by Food Export | Jul 06, 2016
Edlong Dairy Technologies had been working in Mexico since 2000 but in 2013 they began using Branded Program funding primarily for exhibition costs at the Food Technology Expo in 2013 and 2014. As a result they have seen a 20% increase in revenue since 2012.

In addition to securing new business, they have established relationships with the Mexico-based research & development teams of several of the world’s leading brands and are engaged in product development initiatives with these clients.  This step is a fundamental driver of Edlong’s business growth.  “Our current and expected future growth is requiring us to expand our sales presence as well, and we’ll be adding another sales manager to our staff in Cuernavaca,” explains Laurette Rondenet-Smith, President and CEO.
