  • Connecticut Supplier Gains New Export Market

    In June of 2018, Sustainable Indulgence, located in Bridgeport, Connecticut, in the 4th Congressional District, attended Food Export – Northeast’s Caribbean and Latin American Buyers Mission where they met with buyers from Aruba, Barbados, Bermuda, Colombia, the Dominican Republic, Grenada, Guatemala, and Panama.

  • International Community Goes "Nuts" Over Pennsylvania Supplier

    Working with Food Export - Northeast since 1999, Pennsylvania-based Terrafina has been able to grow their exports to many new markets. Most recently in 2018, Food Export’s Branded Program allowed Terrafina to explore Southeast Asia, specifically Singapore and South Korea. The funds from this program allowed them to travel to international trade shows like Seoul Food & Hotel and Food & Hotel Asia.

  • Success With Food Show PLUS!™ at 2019 Seoul Food & Hotel

    In May of 2019, Ravenna, Ohio based US Wine Exports Company Ltd. took advantage of Food Export – Midwest’s Food Show PLUS!™ service at Seoul Food & Hotel that took place in Seoul, South Korea. Food Show PLUS! ™ services included introductions to qualified buyers, in-market briefing, on-site assistance, and a self-guided retail tour.

  • Branded Program Pays Off for New York Pet Food Supplier

    Since 2013, New York based, Grandma Mae’s Country Naturals has participated in Food Export - Northeast’s Market Access Program (MAP) funded Branded Program. Grandma Mae’s utilized the program’s 50% reimbursement for international marketing and promotions in several international markets. Grandma Mae’s has seen tremendous growth in export sales due to utilization and assistance of the MAP funded program. From 2016 to 2017 alone, the company was able to double its export sales. This was heavily due to the assistance from the Branded Program for promotions in South Korea.

Based in Kearney, Missouri in the 6th Congressional District, Premier Proteins produces all natural, hormone and antibiotic free, domestically raised and minimally processed Wagyu beef, Grass-Fed beef, and Berkshire Pork.

  • New Jersey Supplier Finds Success at VIV Asia

    In March 2019, Fornazor International, located in Hillsdale, New Jersey, in the 5th Congressional District, attended VIV Asia 2019 in Bangkok, Thailand, a leading trade show in the animal feed sector. They used Food Export – Northeast Branded Program funding to assist in the cost of exhibiting at the show and they participated in our Food Show PLUS! tradeshow enhancement package at the show. South East Asia is one of Fornazor’s top 3 markets and they saw a great deal of interest in their Halal Certified feeds/ingredients at the show.

  • Ohio Supplier Successfully Exports to South Korea

    Best Breed, Inc. currently operates from Findlay, Ohio, in the 5th Congressional District. In 2018, Best Breed, Inc. participated in Food Export – Midwest’s Branded Program. The program was able to help Best Breed, Inc. make sales to South Korea. With the help of Food Export – Midwest’s Branded Program, Best Breed, Inc. projected their total export sales would increase by nearly 100% from their initial actual sales.

  • Vermont Supplier is Streaming Maple Syrup to Global Consumers

    In 2018, Bascom Family Farms participated in Food Export – Northeast’s Focused Trade Mission to the United Arab Emirates and used allocated Branded Program funding to help offset travel cost. Through the Trade Mission, Bascom Family Farms reported an estimated $250,000 in sales.

In 2018, the supplier used the program to increase their market share in Canada by conducting in-store sampling events and shipping samples to distributors and prospects.

    Milo’s Whole World Gourmet, LLC currently operates from Athens, Ohio, in the 15th Congressional District. In 2018 Milo’s Whole World Gourmet, LLC, participated in Food Export – Midwest’s Market Access Program (MAP) funded Branded Program. The program was able to help them to successfully export to Colombia for the second consecutive year and make nearly $4,000 in sales. With the help of Food Export – Midwest ‘s Branded Program, Milo’s Whole World Gourmet, LLC, project their total export sales will reach $6,000 within the next twelve months.

    In 2018, Boyajian Inc, located in Canton, Massachusetts, in the 8th Congressional District, participated in Food Export – Northeast’s Market Access Program (MAP) funded Branded Program to generate sales for their all-natural infused olive oils, vinegars, vinaigrettes and extracts. Through utilization of their allocated Branded Program funding, Boyajian generated export sales of $5,708, with projected sales of $8,000 over the next twelve months.

Working with Food Export – Northeast since 2009 has helped the Midland Park, New Jersey supplier grow their exports to the Middle East substantial over the past three years through utilization of the Market Access Program (MAP) Branded Program, the Food Export Helpline™, and through attending buyers Missions.

    In 2018, Simplified Foods LLC. dba Simple Squares, located in Chicago, Illinois, in the 7th Congressional District, participated in Food Export – Midwest’s Branded Program that helped them gain $1,000 in new export sales to Canada. In February, the supplier was able to report these new sales and also projected to complete $1,000 in sales over the next twelve months while also making 1 new contact and gaining 1 new agent relationship.
