Tarun Bhalla - Director
Food Export has been a boon to a company like Meal Mantra.

It wouldn’t have been possible for us to attend a lot of trade shows that we’ve been able to without the support we’ve had from Food Export.  There are many services that Food Export has like Market Builder, Market Research, and Buyers Missions which we’ve attended extensively. We’ve met with some success having generated export orders through some of the shows we were able to do.  Which again had only been possible because of Food Export’s services.

There is a whole breadth of services including sending samples to customers, doing Market Research on specific markets about particular products that we offer and competition and existing price points and all those kinds of things.  Import regulations, designing labels, I could go on and on, but I would say we have only just scratched the surface.

I am so grateful and I keep discovering new ways and new markets and there are new horizons to discover because of Food Export.

Food Export uses funding from the Agriculture Trade Promotion (ATP) and Market Access Program (MAP) to help America’s small businesses increase their exports of food and agricultural products. As these exports increase, these small businesses are creating jobs and improving the strength and stability of our agricultural economy. Food Export-Midwest and Food Export-Northeast are non-profit organizations that work in collaboration with their member state departments of agriculture and the USDA’s Foreign Agricultural Service. They offer a wide range of programs and services that help boost

America’s agricultural exports.
