Increased Export Growth for New Jersey Broker

Mount Laurel, New Jersey based Atlas International - Consulting, Sourcing and Brokering LLC has increased their export success since 2016 by utilizing Food Export – Northeast’s programs.

Taking part of the Market Access Program (MAP) funded Branded Program in 2020 assisted them in finding increased export growth for the products they promote in Thailand, Germany, South Korea, and Mexico.  And, with international trade show support, additional markets over the years have been added, including South Africa, Japan, and Colombia to name a few.

Utilizing their allocated MAP funding to revise their client’s product labels, create temporary promotional product displays, participate in trades shows, and complete advertising promotions helped them gain exposure for their producers/suppliers’ products. This exposure helped Atlas International gain over $425,000 in sales to the above mentioned targeted international market.

Participating in the Branded Program for the past four years has created additional new opportunities and has helped them build international success.  Atlas now annually manages >$7MM U.S. Exports of agriculture-based pet products to over 30 markets around the world.

Food Export uses funding from the Market Access Program (MAP) to help America’s small businesses increase their exports of food and agricultural products. As these exports increase, these small businesses are creating jobs and improving the strength and stability of our agricultural economy. Food Export-Midwest and Food Export-Northeast are non-profit organizations that work in collaboration with their member state departments of agriculture and the USDA’s Foreign Agricultural Service. They offer a wide range of programs and services that help boost America’s agricultural exports.
