Virtual Consultations are a 30 minute one-on-one video consultation with one of our In-Market Representatives. These sessions are meant to help you explore questions related to export plans and market expansion. During your session you will have the opportunity to receive answers to pre-determined market-specific questions. Our in-market experts will do their best to answer your questions and deliver valuable feedback to help you achieve export success.
Suppliers can select up to four (4) questions to ask the In-Market Representative. Questions will be submitted in advance of the one-on-one video consultation and follow-up assistance may be permitted. From the date of registration, we will set a 10-business-day timeline for initiating the video consultation.
In-Market Representatives will use the information gathered during the registration to begin preliminary research to help answer the supplier’s questions. During the call, our In-Market Representatives will do their best to answer as many questions as they can while giving valuable, real-time feedback.

Anne Dettmer formed Artisanne’s, an independent marketing and communications company in 1997. Past employers have included Ogilvy PR (where she set up and ran its Food Centre) PPR International and Lopex. She has extensive experience of working on behalf of US cooperators and State Regional Trade Groups and has been Food Export Assn of the Midwest USA’s and Food Export USA – Northeast’s, UK and Republic of Ireland’s In Market Representative for over twelve years. Previous cooperator experience includes California Raisin Advisory Board, California Walnuts, US Organic/Natural Products Initiative, Midwest/Northeast Wines, USA Poultry & Egg Export Council, USA Rice Federation, National Sunflower Assn. and USA Pecans. Not limited to not for profit trade associations, Anne Dettmer has guided and advised numerous brands. Specific experience includes introducing new brands to the UK market and undertaking market reports in order to advise on strategy. She has the ability to switch from retail to food service to manufacturing and ingredients. She is a member of The Guild of Food Writers and was on the judging panel of its 2011 Best Cookery Book Award.

Ms. Kraus is President of mk² gmbh in Bonn, Germany. She received a B.A. in Humanities in 1984 from the University of California at Irvine, after which she earned a MA in American Studies, Spanish and Economics from the University of Bonn in 1989. After ten years in the international PR & communications industry, Ms. Kraus refocused her experience and founded her own agency mk² in 2000. Having been responsible for many European and American clients during her career, she has become familiar with every aspect of traditional advertising & marketing as well as press work, organization of receptions, conferences & exhibitions and market research & trade representation. Ms. Kraus is fluent in English, French and Spanish.

Alexander Wever is the principal of Alexander Wever Fisch Consulting, has nearly 20 years of international seafood industry experience. AWF Consulting specializes in seafood marketing within the food and retail industry. Mr. Wever is knowledgeable about seafood, food quality, sustainable product issues and trade. He has in-depth knowledge and contacts for seafood wholesale businesses, manufacturers and suppliers of seafood products.
Alexander’s prior experience includes: director of category management for seafood at Metro, the leading cash and carry wholesale chain in Europe; head of category management for seafood at Globus SB-Warenhaus, a German retail chain with self-service department stores.

Felipe Macías is based in Madrid, Spain and has a broad experience in the agro-food sector, having working in the marketing and commercialization of different foods in many international markets. As a consultant he has worked for companies, associations and Governments in different countries helping them to brand, commercialize and position their products and services, mainly in the food & beverage sector.
Felipe has been a consultant for national and regional promotion brands including, ICEX, EXTENDA, CORPEI and is now a business consultant in Europe for Canada Beef. Felipe was in charge of promoting Spanish Serrano ham throughout various international markets. He has also worked for the U.S. Meat Export Federation as a Marketing Representative in Europe.
