Virtual Consultations are a 30 minute one-on-one video consultation with one of our In-Market Representatives. These sessions are meant to help you explore questions related to export plans and market expansion. During your session you will have the opportunity to receive answers to pre-determined market-specific questions. Our in-market experts will do their best to answer your questions and deliver valuable feedback to help you achieve export success.
Suppliers can select up to four (4) questions to ask the In-Market Representative. Questions will be submitted in advance of the one-on-one video consultation and follow-up assistance may be permitted. From the date of registration, we will set a 10-business-day timeline for initiating the video consultation.
In-Market Representatives will use the information gathered during the registration to begin preliminary research to help answer the supplier’s questions. During the call, our In-Market Representatives will do their best to answer as many questions as they can while giving valuable, real-time feedback.
Our efforts in the market are carried out by our local representative, Raul Caballero, of Mercalimentos Consultores S.C. Mercalimentos Consultores S.C. is a marketing and trade consulting firm that specializes in food and agricultural products. With over 25 years of experience in the food industry, the firm has helped hundreds of companies to enter the Mexican market by facilitating the engagement of exporters and importers with educational and promotional activities. Currently, Mercalimentos Consultores manages the implementation of various USDA programs for Mexico and some South American markets for their clients. Mercalimentos Consultores has worked with more than 20 State Departments of Agriculture and has represented us in Mexico since 1995.
