Two Seafood Tradeshows to Consider This Coming Fall in Asia

This Fall, Food Export–Northeast has two great opportunities for Northeast US seafood suppliers to consider for growing their business in Asia: Suppliers may travel to Taipei to exhibit at the Taiwan Fisheries & Seafood Show between September 1-3, 2022. Additionally, despite travel restrictions to mainland China, Food Export–Northeast is offering suppliers a showcase opportunity at the China Fisheries & Seafood Expo, being hosted in Qingdao October 26-28, 2022.

For both opportunities, suppliers can utilize the Branded Program for a 50% cost-share reimbursement of travel and/or exhibiting expenses. If you’re interested in participating, please find details below.

Participate Virtually at the China Fisheries & Seafood Expo in October 2022

China Fisheries & Seafood Expo is the most prominent tradeshow for mainland China, representing a great opportunity for Northeast US seafood suppliers to grow their seafood business in this high-demand market. Despite current travel restrictions, Northeast US seafood suppliers can participate virtually in this event by being included in Food Export–Northeast’s showcase.

Food Export’s In-Market Representative will hold calls with each participating supplier in advance of the show to discuss their company’s objectives for participation (e.g., meeting new buyers or reconnecting with previous customers). Suppliers will have the opportunity to provide company profiles and may send digital or printed materials in advance of the show to promote their brand. Food Export–Northeast’s In-Market Representative will promote participating suppliers to buyers before and during the show, and all participating suppliers will receive a detailed post-show report with leads generated for their products. Don’t miss out on the opportunity to explore new export opportunities in China without leaving the comfort of home this October.
