Branded Program Assistant
Food Export - Midwest, a small trade association and international marketing organization is seeking candidates for its Branded Program Assistant position. This is a full time, salaried position, 40 hours per week. Our office is located in downtown Chicago. The chosen candidate will be working directly with a staff of 15 professionals in a challenging and rewarding position.
The Branded Program is a cost share reimbursement program administered utilizing federal funding. The position requires review and processing of reimbursement documentation submitted by participating companies who have conducted overseas marketing activities. The primary responsibility of the position is the entry and initial review of reimbursement submissions to ensure all documentation meets compliance standards. The position requires daily phone interaction with program participants, regular reporting, phone follow up and maintenance of company files.
The Program Manager supervises the Assistant and provides direction; drafts work priorities and monitors performance of this position on a regular basis.
Candidates must have great attention to detail and organizational and administrative skills; they should be comfortable with numbers, self-motivated, responsible, and professional. Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously is essential.
Position requires a college degree or the equivalent work experience in the areas of marketing, marketing administration, accounting, finance or related field.
Fluent computer skills (including Microsoft Office, Outlook) are required. Experience or interest in international business, exporting, or food and agriculture are helpful.

BRANDED PROGRAM
The Branded Program is a cost-share funding program that supports the promotion of branded and private label food and agricultural products in foreign markets. Participant companies receive 50 percent cost reimbursement for a wide variety of eligible international marketing and promotional activities.
