Buyers of U.S. Foods
Food Export-Midwest and Food Export-Northeast are non-profit organizations composed of 22 Midwestern and Northeastern state agricultural promotion agencies that use federal, state, and industry resources to help companies increase product sales overseas. Food Export-Midwest and Food Export-Northeast administer many services through Market Access Program (MAP) funding from the USDA, Foreign Agricultural Service.
Food Export-Midwest and Food Export-Northeast, in conjunction with its member states, provides a wide range of services to facilitate trade between local food companies and importers around the world. These services include: export promotion, customized export assistance, and a cost-share funding program.

Partners with the USDA, Foreign Agricultural Service
We work cooperatively with the overseas offices of the USDA, Foreign Agricultural Service. If you are interested in developing or expanding your business relationships with U.S. food and agricultural suppliers, you are encouraged to contact your local USDA, Foreign Agricultural Office to advise them of such interest. Contact information for the office in your country or region can be accessed on the FAS web site.

Services for Buyers of U.S. Food and Agricultural Products
Food Export-Midwest and Food Export-Northeast offer a variety of services to help you discover U.S. products and meet face-to-face with Midwest and Northeast companies. For example, we can pre-arrange meetings with qualified U.S. suppliers at a tradeshow in your country, you could participate in a Buyers Mission that bring importers and distributors to the U.S. to meet with prospective U.S. suppliers or receive reimbursement for promoting U.S. products and more.

U.S. Foodlink is a bi-monthly newsletter, bi-weekly email news bulletin, and website. Branded Program
If you currently import U.S. food and agricultural products, you could receive financial assistance to help you promote them in your market. The Branded Program offers reimbursement on marketing-related expenses.
